Social Media Internship

Postion: Social Media Intern

Location: Remote

Compensation: Non-paid; credit given if applicable.

Hours: Flexible. 8 hours per week. Morning social media engagement 8:00 − 10:00 a.m. EST.

Description:

This is a part-time internship, the candidate will be expected to work at least three days per week. The Exploress is searching for the right candidate to help grow our social media presence and brand awareness via Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and Made with Map while developing relationships with other relevant brands and businesses, both in the USA and abroad. Must have experience with and be currently engaged on our social media outlets; must also have an interest in social media marketing trends and tracking/analytics.

Responsibilities: 

Daily engagement through our Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest profiles. Daily postings to our social media outlets, gathering of appropriate inspiration and content for our social media outlets including our blog. Develop a potential useful social media marketing plan.

Requirements:

Proficiency in written communication (writing & proofing skills) with an understanding of a wide range of social media outlets including, but not limited to: Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest. Must have some blogging experience. Innovative and self-motivated. Marketing majors are encouraged to apply.
