Position: Social Media Intern (You do not need to be a student to apply)
Location: Tampa Bay Area and/or Remote Locations
Compensation: School credit if applicable. However, for the right candidate, a stipend will be discussed.
Hours: 5 - 9 hours per week
Our mission at The Exploress is to inspire and educate. We encourage women around the globe to travel with an emphasis on lifestyle and local culture. Together we create a unique community of young, creative, and adventurous women who aspire to live a more cultured life – sharing our travel experiences and lifestyles. We are passionate about exploring the beauty in life, style, food, and culture on a global scale and strive to engage others through our online platform.
Update and co-manage all social media outlets, including: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest. This will be done on a scheduled basis 5 - 6 days per week (roughly 1 hr - 1.5 hrs per day). Find relevant content to post, and accounts to follow and interact with. Create content (copy & photographs) for 1 blog post per week (this is flexible).
Requirements: The ideal candidate will be excited & knowledgeable about travel (domestic & international), style, culture, and working with a startup. He/she must be a team player, but also be able to work independently and own his/her own work. Experience with Microsoft Office, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter is a must. Experience with Photoshop and WordPress is a plus.
